Job Summary :
Mobile clinic manager shall be responsible for management, maintenance, and development of medical mobile clinic. Plan and organize medical health campaigns and fairs. Performs activities effectively and efficiently under the guidelines of Area Manager / Regional Director / Assistant Director Mobile Clinics..
The following is a list of duties you can expect to fulfil at different times / events throughout the year.
Essential Responsibilities as Mobile Clinic Manager :
- Schedule, organize, and coordinate community health fairs and mobile clinic events.
- Recruit volunteer doctors, students, and other health care professionals
- Solicit donations to support the mobile clinic program
- Manage and secure waiver forms and health fair test results
- HIPAA compliance implementation
- Train volunteers to perform blood glucose, blood pressure, BMI, and cholesterol screenings as needed.
- Do Triage / Lab testing as needed
- Maintain and update resource / referral lists of subsidized or free medical / dental clinics, etc.
- Attending meetings as needed
- Generate health fair reports after each event
- Implement volunteer / mobile clinic policies
- Prompt communication with mobile clinic / local director regarding patients / volunteers / mobile clinic issues and related matters
- Ensure the mobile clinic is clean, filled with gas, maintained, and up to date with medical supplies / monthly inventory, and any other related work
- Represent ICNA Relief at health fairs / events; setting up tables, making sure all necessary health fair equipment / supplies and volunteers are available prior to the event
- Recruit, supervise and manage Physicians, dentists, Nurses, Dieticians, Pharmacists and other Health fair related volunteers
- Provide courteous and professional services to all Staff / volunteers / clients
- Reach out and build relationships with Masajids, Churches, counties and health departments and other organizations e.g American Red cross to arrange blood drives, health fairs & vaccines distribution events
- Help in procuring health fair related grants, health fair related supplies as in-kind donation & add donors from the community.
- Execute other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours from 9 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain a full-time status / does not apply to part-time employment. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as an integral part of the job based on the nature of the role and its responsibilities.
Work Authorization :
The candidate applying to join ICNA Relief must have a legal status, social security number and work authorization by the relevant US authorities. The candidate by virtue of applying for this position authorizes ICNA Relief for his / her Background Check, reference check and a Medical Exam on need basis.
Travel Requirements :
ICNA Relief is a national organization with operations across various states, therefore the candidate must be willing and prepared to travel for official work / assignment at a 24-hour notice.
