Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Junior Accountant to support our financial operations. In this role, you'll assist in managing our accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our accounting department. This position is not remote and will require you to work in the office full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
· Input bills into the NetSuite Accounting Module daily for payments to be released on time.
· Verify that bills entered into NetSuite have the appropriate backup and payment approvals.
· Onboard new vendors by collecting W-9 forms, banking information, and confirming banking details.
· Monitor new confirmed shows/events and request corresponding show codes in NetSuite.
· Daily review of credit card transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts.
· Review and upload Ramp credit card transactions.
· Support the department during the month-end close process.
· Provide assistance during audits, particularly with accounts payable audit requests.
· Assist the department with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred, but at least one year of experience is acceptable.
- Computer proficiency is a plus, particularly in Google Suite, NetSuite, Excel, and Airtable.
- Ideal candidates should have attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an interest in accounting.
