Locally owned Construction, Development, and Real Estate group is looking for an Administrative/Accounting Assistant to join our team.
This fast-paced position supports all of our office staff, with an emphasis in assisting our accounting department. An ideal candidate for this position will be a team player, self-motivated, and a proactive problem solver.
Position responsibilities and duties include:
· Assist Accounts Payable with the following:
o Manage incoming invoices received by email
o Manage distribution of credit card statements and collection of receipts
o Accurately enter invoices and credit card charges into accounting software
o Track receipt of insurance certificates, subcontractor agreements, and W-9 forms and request missing documents from vendors
· Process changes to ownership with utility companies
· Maintain filing systems, including archiving records at year-end
· Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages
· Manage incoming invoices received by email
· Maintain and order office supplies
· Greet and assist clients, vendors, and other visitors as needed
· Maintain client facing areas, insuring conference room readiness and refreshment availability
· Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
· Administrative support for all departments, including ownership, as needed.
Position Qualifications:
· Minimum High school diploma or GED required
· Five (5) years of experience in an office environment, providing administrative or accounting support
Demonstrated Skills and Abilities:
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Experience with accounting software preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Advanced skills in prioritizing, planning and organization, and the ability to manage completing priorities and shift tasks quickly
· Must be extremely detail oriented and complete tasks accurately
· Must be willing to work in an office. This is not a remote position

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
