```Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Operator and Pipe Layer to join our team. As an Equipment Operator/Pipe Layer, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to perform tasks such as digging, loading, transporting materials, setting structures, and many other labor intensive tasks. If you have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and bulldozers, laying pipe, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Laying pipe, including Sewer, Water, and Storm, Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, loaders, bulldozers, and water trucks - Perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, and transporting materials - Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Skills: - Proficient in operating backhoes, loaders, bulldozers, and water trucks - Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment - Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans - Experience with horizontal drilling is a plus - Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is preferred - Ability to operate tankers for water transportation is a plus If you have the necessary skills and experience as an Equipment Operator, we invite you to apply for this position.
