We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations in Downers Grove, Illinois. This critical leadership position requires a strong analytical mindset, collaboration across departments, and a proven track record of effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets that align with organizational goals. Conduct detailed financial analysis to inform decision-making processes.
• Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and compliant financial statements. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and manage related financial reporting.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability. Implement strategies to optimize cash reserves and mitigate risks.
• Cost Management: Analyze operating costs, identify areas for reduction, and implement efficient financial processes and controls.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. Foster a culture of performance and accountability by establishing training programs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to align financial strategies with organizational objectives. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors.
• Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of our financial systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification is preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop financial strategies that align with overall business goals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
