Job Title: HIM Technician (Night Shift)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 12am - 7am
(1-week training, M-F, 7am - 3:30pm)
Location: Murfreesboro, TN 37129 (ONSITE)
Pay: $25.00 ( Benefits)
Assignment Length: Contract W2 1 Month
Job Description:
The HIM Technician performs clerical/technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures. This could include the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents. The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties.
Deep understanding of Confidentiality Practices, Hospital Experience Preferred, Sense of Urgency at it pertains to productivity, High Attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task, Ability to follow written and verbal direction, comfortable with fast paced change of priority requirements

- DNFB/DNFC Assistance
- Retrieval of documents
- reconciliation of accounts
- Registry Maintenance (non-patient facing i.e. death, trauma, etc)
- Indexing All other duties as assigned
