Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Department: Gourmet Italian Cuisine Restaurant
Reports To: Restaurant Managers/ Director of Operations
Status: Part Time only
Duties:
- Serves take-out food and drinks
- Answers inquiries about the menu and attend to the wishes of guests, as well as suggestively selling food and drinks.
- Must present a positive first impression of the restaurant’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
- Serve guests and creates a warm and fun atmosphere for both guests and employees.
- Answers questions about food and drinks including their ingredients, preparation and accompanying items.
- Merchandises menu items, such as appetizers, entrees, beverages and desserts.
- Rings up orders on POS quickly and in proper courses and uses appropriate abbreviations and charges.
- Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication of guests and for handling intoxicated guests.
- Responsible for justifying the bank at end of shift as per company policy.
- Keeps Gourmet To-Go station clean and organized.
- Ensure all areas are clean. Restocks necessary supplies and brings all areas up to standard.
- Discussing problem areas with manager. Performs shift change and / or closing duties. Answers telephone within two rings and answers questions accordingly.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and speak the English language, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute percent. Ability to make change.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order Processing and POS system, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
