What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School ELA Learning Facilitator (2025-2026 School Year) position at Icon Preparatory School?
The Learning Facilitator supports a classroom of students that are on campus but participating in math and science classes online. The facilitator advises and guides students in the use of a ‘range’ of digital resources. He/She actively engages with learners to ascertain their learning/study needs, establishes a positive rapport to facilitate their independent study, and tutors students in small groups.
The facilitator is on site in the classroom with students to manage students and ensure they are working and completing online assignments.
This is a 10-month position per school year, beginning August 2025. The High School ELA Learning Facilitator receives paid time off for many national holidays, including:
- 1 week for Fall Break
- 2 weeks for Winter Break
- 1 week for Spring Break
- Nearly 2 months for Summer Break
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 per year
