Project Manager
Icon Structures is a growing general contractor for commercial construction providing pre-construction services, construction management, design build work and general contracting. Our Project Managers are involved in a range of construction services.
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team in our Colorado Springs, CO office. Icon Structures offers competitive salaries with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with match, health and dental insurance, PTO, vehicle allowance with gas card, and a cell phone allowance. The salary range for this position is $85k-$120k.
This position includes a variety of responsibilities that include:
• Leadership and accountability
• Training and development of our Project Engineers
• Business Development – Every Icon team member is a reflection on Icon Structures
• Job Cost Management and tracking of individual projects
• Preparation of and maintaining project schedules
• Creating and processing all change events, subcontract change orders, owner change orders, and prime contract change orders.
• Preparation of and maintaining accurate budgets and updates.
• Standard Subcontract Agreements & Purchase Order Agreements via Procore Project Management software.
• Creating and building scopes of work per specified divisions for each project.
• Monitoring and reporting construction progress updates.
• Conducting weekly OAC and subcontractor meetings.
• Building and maintaining healthy relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors.
• Ensuring safe and functional jobsite at all times
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Fast paced, self-starter who is detail oriented and organized
• Highly motivated with a passion for construction.
• Detailed and accurate estimating of competitive bid, negotiated, design-build and CM at Risk commercial construction projects.
• Ability to complete accurate schedules, submittals, change orders to variance and pay requests, on time, on budget record of tracking variances and cost projections, estimating, knowledge of project scheduling, subcontract and PO management, construction oversight with superintendent.
• Successful candidate must have thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards and a capacity to handle pressure.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment

• Ability to negotiate and effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Thorough understanding of construction means and methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager or Project Engineer with a General Contractor.
• Must have good references from previous clients & employer
• Must be a resident of the United States.

• Paid Time off (PTO): 4 weeks per year of PTO once accrued at 3.076 hours per week, beginning at time of employment.

• 401K retirement plan participation is available to employees after 60 days of employment. Icon matches employee’s individual 401K contributions of 50% up to 5% of standard wages.
