The Maitre D' is responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the dining room, ensuring that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. This includes managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, supervising staff, and resolving any guest concerns. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions

Manage reservations and maintain accurate seating charts.
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a smooth and efficient seating process.

Work Environment
This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position requiring forty plus hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maitre D' or in a similar supervisory role in a fine dining restaurant.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Compliant with state Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.
Proficiency in using reservation management software (e.g., Sevenrooms, OpenTable, Resy).
