Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with a deep understanding of the public sector to drive innovation in our product line at iCONECT. In this role, you will be the strategic “voice of the customer,” responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes that support Federal Civilian needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, roadmap, and deliver innovative solutions that empower organizations to effectively respond to Federal Civilian needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and execute a compelling product vision and strategy for public sector solutions, aligning with company goals and market needs.
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on user insights and market demands.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product impact and user satisfaction.
User-Centric Design & Innovation
- Advocate for user-centered design principles to develop intuitive and effective solutions.
- Conduct regular user research and customer engagement initiatives to capture insights and validate product enhancements.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and public sector clients to ensure products address real-world challenges.
- Serve as a thought leader by representing iCONECT at industry conferences, webinars, and in public communications.
- Stay updated on the latest Federal Civilian best practices to inform product decisions and enhance customer offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Enablement
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure timely product development and successful go-to-market execution.
- Partner with the sales team to create training materials and pre-sales support, enhancing product adoption and market penetration.
- Plan, execute, and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance, analyze data, and drive continuous improvements to ensure long-term product success.
- Maintain and update training and support materials for both internal teams and customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in product management, preferably with exposure to Federal government projects.
- Strong understanding of the Public Sector industry with an emphasis on digital experience for customers.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products from conception to market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, GitLab).
- Able to pass a Public Trust Clearance, at minimum.
- Bachelor’s degree or related area, MBA a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the public sector or with government digital projects.
- Advanced skills in market research, user testing, and customer journey mapping.
- Prior experience in content development and campaign management for product promotion.
