Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Writer for their San Carlos, CA location.

Responsibilities :

• The Manufacturing Operations (MOPS) Technical Writer plays a pivotal role in researching, authoring, editing, and publishing manufacturing assembly and test procedures for client's manufacturing facilities.
• Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, this onsite position involves collaborating with engineers and technicians to create comprehensive, user-friendly documentation.
• The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of electric and autonomous vehicle technology and a fervent enthusiasm for emerging mobility trends.
• As a Technical Writer within the Manufacturing Operations department at client, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation that supports the manufacturing processes and procedures for our autonomous vehicle production.
• Working closely with engineers, technicians, and quality assurance personnel, you will translate technical information into clear and concise documentation to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, TPMs, and managers to understand project requirements and concepts thoroughly.
• Coordinate with the Technical Program Manager (TPM) and Leadership to ensure the consistency of documentation standards, styles, and priorities.
• Strategize and deliver documentation guides in accordance with project timelines.
• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at crafting compelling technical content, and exhibit strong time management abilities.
• Develop digital documentation while adhering to established style and platform standards.
• Partner with manufacturing technicians and engineers to gain a comprehensive understanding of process intricacies and fulfill manufacturing objectives effectively.
• Solicit and integrate customer feedback on documentation to optimize usability.
