Our Client, a Coatings and Paints company, is looking for Color Lab Technician for their Springdale, PA location Responsibilities : Provides support for technical issues.
Identifies, researches and resolves routine technical problems of low complexity.Technicians are responsible for producing liquid samples by following a formulation recipe in the blending of paint samples.
Typical sample sizes are ½ pint to 1 quart.Occasionally, 5-gallon pails must be produced as needed for internal and external equipment trials.
Physical property testing of coated samples including adhesion, abrasion resistance, stain / chemical resistance, scratch resistance, gloss retention, etc.
Color matching on wood substrates using stains and / or with opaque systems. RequirementsHigh School DiplomaTwo years of college level math and science or equivalent experience desirable, but not required.
