Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and processing medical specimens from patients.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all sample collections.
- Ensuring effective communication with patients, medical staff, and laboratory personnel.
- Performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is highly desirable.
- At least three years of phlebotomy experience is necessary.
- A minimum of two years in a Patient Service Center environment is preferred.
- Customer service experience is beneficial.
- Keyboard/data entry experience is mandatory.
