Project Manager-Issuer Services Operations

Our Client, a Banking and Financial Services company, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer III for their Hickory, NC location.

Responsibilities :

• As a Project Manager, you will require a high degree of collaboration and facilitation within the team and across the enterprise, including senior management, as well as have the ability to translate business needs into strategies and formulate plans with focused execution. The project Managers initial focus will be on the operational aspects of a strategic NDA programme including overseeing delivery and execution from an Operations perspective.
• Work confidently with the Business and Technical stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements.
• Manage all aspects of projects throughout the development lifecycle (SDLC), including project scope, schedule, resources and risks and issue management.
• Own, drive and manage the delivery of project milestones on-scope, on-time, and on-budget in a cross-functional, matrixed setting.
• Own and develop relationship with key stakeholders, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
• Facilitate and chair workshops and stakeholder meetings. Effectively direct the flow of discussions to keep momentum and achieve the outcomes of the meetings.
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
• Manage and mitigate all risk whilst ensuring effective governance for Operations
• This person will need to have financial industry background. This role will be very heavy on data analysis, cleanup, etc. this is a very big strategic project for the bank so this person will need to have a strong analytical background and the ability to think and do more than just check boxes. Be able to assess and identify trends within the data.
• This role is volume based to help with current initiative supporting Issuer Services. This space provides trustee and corporate lending services to customers. This person will have chunks of work to be completed by certain timelines so will need to be able to work under tight timelines, and there will be ups and downs in volumes.
• This role will have the potential to evolve into a more senior position with more responsibility, so this person needs to be able to adapt to that change and absorb the responsibilities where needed. This person needs to be a self-driven person who can manage day to day with little instruction.
• Have project deliverables, on a day to day they will coordinate more across the various workstreams and groups to ensure the project functions smoothly. They will have coordination responsibilities to ensure workstreams and teams are meeting deadlines and deliverables. They will have some presentation to management on project updates. Supporting a global team and need to have confidence going right to the head of business and not always going direct to manager.
