Description:
The position requires a strong architect with comprehensive knowledge of data architecture, hands on experience in data model design, data quality analysis and good understanding of data analytics architecture. As Information / Data Architects, the candidate will work with enterprise architects, solution architects, business, and product teams to create strategy, design data models, information flows, perform data quality analysis, set standards, best practices, and guide product teams in implementation of the design.
Skills Required:
Lead design discussions, create conceptual data models, logical data models and data dictionaries.
Manage and maintain data models
Define reporting strategy and identify sources for reporting data.
Perform data quality analysis, identify issues, and propose solution to resolve them.
Guide product teams to create physical data model design and data dictionary.
Data modeling in a enterprise tool such as Power Designer or ERWIN
Capable to work well individually and as a team member
Experience Required:
7 years Data Modeling experience with expertise in Relational and/or Dimensional Analysis
5 years in experience in Data Warehouse database design
Have a deep understanding of data modeling principles and architecture concepts.
Extensive experience designing databases supporting complex business process.
Experience in supporting database technologies - Oracle, DB2, Teradata, Hadoop, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, GCP Big Query
Knowledge of Data Analytics, Google Cloud Technologies
Experience Preferred:
GCP Big Query, Master Data Management
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Education Preferred:
Prefer certification GCP or other Data Architecture related certifications
