What are the responsibilities and job description for the Localization Project Manager - Digital Content position at ICONMA?
Our Client, a Consumer Products And Software Services company, is looking for a Localization Project Manager - Digital Content for their Austin, TX / Hybrid location.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with other WW Localization Project and Program Managers, to align on processes and standard methodologies.
- Work closely with DCM teams across Cupertino, Singapore, Tokyo and London to ensure timely delivery of localized content for Campaigns, Programs, Engineering Releases and New Product Introductions.
- Work with key DCM teams on localization of content for the eCommerce experience on Client, the Client Store App, and WeChat and Tmall platforms.
- Lead localization projects from beginning to end, using our in-house translation management software (WorldServer) and translation memory tools.
- Have the opportunity to work with both internal and external language specialist teams.
- Lead and direct localization vendors, giving them clear and concise guidelines on Client eCommerce requirements.
- Act as point of contact for urgent localization requests coming out of the regional teams.
- Handle Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) projects during engineering release cycles, campaigns, programs and new product introductions.
- Build reporting for localization functions within the DCM organization.
- Be involved in handoff review meetings with DCM teams, and feedback localization specific needs.
- Coordinate with other Localization Project and Program Managers to create consistent processes and practices.
