Shift Information: Shifts will be Days or Afternoons. Every other weekend Holidays if needed
Description:
The Medical Laboratory Scientist-MSL-MT/ Medical Lab Technician MLT performs laboratory analysis, evaluates laboratory results and reports results promptly and accurately. Recognizes and solves basic laboratory problems, and assists in maintenance of laboratory systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science OR documented equivalent education and training per ASCP Board of Certification alternate routes for certification
Licensure/certification/registration:
ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) or, certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
OR
Education:
Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
Licensure/certification/registration:
ASCP certification as Medical Lab Technician (MLT).
