Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Principles Application:
- Apply quality principles to design, incoming materials, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and R&D.
- Ensure product or process quality for both in-house and purchased products.
- Technical Evaluations:
- Evaluate product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Product Failure Investigations:
- Investigate product failures, participate in material review board decisions, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5-8years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Experience in applying quality principles in design, production control, product evaluation, and reliability.
- Experience in evaluating product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.
- Experience in investigating product failures and implementing corrective actions.
- Experience in developing and evaluating quality systems.
- Experience in designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes.
- Experience in supplier selection and maintaining certification programs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment.
