After-School Cooking and STEAM Instructor

Your Role:

• Lead interactive after-school sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking, using provided curriculum.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in hands-on experiments and creative projects.
• Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

• Brings experience working with children, whether in a school, camp, or similar setting, and is excited to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
• Demonstrates effective classroom management skills, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to learn and explore.
• Values punctuality, reliability, and the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of young minds.

Your Schedule and Pay:

• Pay is $80 per class (class is 1 hour long)
• Classes are held weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with class start times between 1:00PM-3:30PM
• The program will start late February for six weeks, with potential teaching opportunities available throughout the school year.

Requirements:

• A supplementary school background check and tuberculosis (TB) test are necessary to obtain teaching clearance.
