WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE…

The Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s Real Estate Accounting division. This role is accountable for overall leadership of the division with the goal of ensuring accurate and timely reporting for clients, and exceptional quality service for our tenants. Core responsibilities include:

• This hands-on role includes producing monthly reporting as well as supervision of the Accounting team. The Accounting Manager works with their team to ensure Vendor Payables and Tenant Receivables are correctly posted, and clients are receiving accurate financial data on time.
• Producing complex accounting entries: including tenant lease caps, year-end tenant recoveries, owner’s distributions, Florida sales tax and mortgage calculations.
• Review of Month End Financial Statements: checking the work of Financial Services Administrators for errors, reconciling bank statements, making things balance!
• Assisting accounting staff with accounting best practices, answering questions, and sharing your knowledge of Real Estate Accounting to help your team grow.
• This role will also manage the company benefits platforms such as a company Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and IRA account, and produce internal financial statements for our operating companies.
  
  

What You Bring To Icorr…

• University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 7 years’ experience in Real Estate Accounting (or 10 years’ experience in related field)
• Must have direct management experience overseeing an accounting team.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail: capable of meticulously recording accounting transactions, and able to review advanced financial statements for errors.
• Analytical thinker: comfortable with moderate-to-advanced mathematical calculations, process driven and able to focus at length.
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Yardi experience strongly preferred
