In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Consultation & User Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to end users, spending time with them to understand their processes, challenges, and goals.
- Partner with end users to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to streamline workflows and improve user experience.
- Proactively gather feedback from end users to develop actionable recommendations for system improvements and training needs.
- Act as a bridge between end users and technical teams, translating business requirements into Salesforce configurations.
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce, including user management, security configurations, roles, profiles, and sharing settings.
- Create and maintain fields, objects, workflows, page layouts, and validation rules to align with business processes.
- Perform routine data maintenance, including bulk imports/exports, deduplication, and data hygiene.
- Drive Salesforce adoption by developing and delivering tailored training sessions, onboarding materials, and user engagement initiatives.
- Support end users by troubleshooting issues and providing day-to-day guidance on Salesforce functionality.
- Build trust with end users by demonstrating how Salesforce can simplify their work and add value to their roles.
- Collaborate with end users and business leaders to develop and manage reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Leverage data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvements that benefit end users and the business.
- Lead initiatives to optimize Salesforce use across departments, with a focus on aligning functionality to the needs of end users in building/construction value chain functions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to implement business requirements effectively while prioritizing user impact.
- Partner with external vendors for system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Oversee system upgrades and ensure end users are prepared for new features through communication, training, and support.
- Facilitate smooth transitions to new functionalities by providing post-implementation support to end users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 years of Salesforce administration experience; experience in building/construction value chain strongly preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including objects, workflows, data management, and integrations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly terms.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and support end users across various roles and departments.
- Experience working closely with end users to identify needs and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with tools like RingLead or similar data quality management systems.
- Passion for technology and improving user experience.
