The Sample Builder will be responsible for creating high-quality product samples for the APOC, RoofXTender, California Sports Surfaces, Pli-Dek, and APF brands. Responsibilities:
- Create, assemble, and prepare product samples for various brands, ensuring precision and quality.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to fulfill sample requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain and organize sample inventory, including tracking and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Ensure product samples meet company standards for quality and accuracy.
- Utilize basic email functions to communicate with internal teams and manage inventory orders.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery of samples to fulfillment warehouse.
Experience needed:
- Proven experience in construction, building, or a related field, with a focus on hands-on craftsmanship.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality – a perfectionist attitude is a must.
- Ability to work with various building materials (e.g., roofing, waterproofing, coatings) and understand their applications – training will be provided.
- Basic computer skills, including email proficiency for inventory management and communication.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods.
