What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutritionist position at ICP Solutions Pvt. Ltd?
Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) & must be an active Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of RI.
Responsibilities:
- Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy for Medical/LTAC in-patient units.
- Conducts nutrition screen for patients upon admission and establishes nutritional risk.
- Completes a comprehensive nutrition assessment for patients, reassessments, and develops individualized nutrition plan of care.
- Participates in interdisciplinary care planning.
- Provides recommendation for diet orders, nutrition supplements, and tube feeding regimens.
- Provide therapeutic diet education to patient/family as needed.
KNOWLEDGES, SKIILLS AND CAPACITIES: A thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of dietetics including nutritional requirements of individuals of varying ages and physical conditions, basic and therapeutic diet planning, and food preparation and service; and related capacities and abilities.
EDUCATION: Such as may have been gained through: graduation from a college of recognized standing with specialization in nutrition and dietetics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: At the time of appointment must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties as evidenced by a physician's certificate.
