ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated Chinese Language Analyst.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Scans data identified as of interest and determines pertinence to mission requirements
- Translates advanced-level printed materials, including technical manuals and foreign language periodicals into good grammatical English
- Transcribes and translates foreign language audio files into good grammatical English
- Performs quality control reviews of translations, and/or transcripts of complex and sophisticated materials based on straightforward, factual written, and/or spoken material
- Assist in the production of serialized/end-product reports using appropriate formats for dissemination
- Required
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
- Must possess professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, a current 2/2 or higher on the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) or equivalent on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR)
- Must have excellent command of the English language and ability to produce translations independently
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a language analyst
- Good organization, decision making, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience utilizing DNI tools
- Knowledge of network protocols
- Familiar with intelligence collection systems
- Prior reporting experience
- Five (5) years of experience

Salary : $105,000 - $175,000
