What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Summer Intern position at ICR?
ICR’s Summer Internship Program offers students an extraordinary opportunity to learn at one of the largest and fastest-growing strategic communications and advisory firms.
As a summer intern, students will work alongside a dedicated team of full-time team members and gain a deeper understanding of what it’s like to work at ICR.
As an IT Intern, students will assist internal IT team in the following areas:
- Update ICR websites and internal Intranet as needed
- Assist with onboarding of new employees
- Wipe old laptops, prepare for sale/donation
- Run reporting on security vulnerabilities
- Reconcile current documentation vs. legacy system
All interns will have the opportunity to participate in ICR’s exclusive Lunch & Learn series, featuring accomplished ICR and industry leaders.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate students with projected graduation dates in 2026 and 2027
- Pursuing a computer related field of study
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in Norwalk Connecticut (primary location) or New York office 3 days per week
- Ability to work early June 2025 to early August 2025
