Sales Representative, Commercial Construction

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and promoting our contracting services. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to close deals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify potential clients and opportunities in the construction industry. Develop and implement sales strategies to target key markets and increase revenue.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their needs and provide solutions that align with their construction goals.
• Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals. Collaborate with the project management team to develop accurate and competitive bids.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively position our services.
• Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close sales deals with clients, ensuring contract terms are mutually beneficial.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the sales, project management, and finance teams to ensure smooth project execution. Report sales activities, progress, and forecasts to management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Representative in the commercial construction industry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience in marketing, construction management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
