Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Human Resources Generalist to join our corporate office. This is currently a remote position with potential future meetings in the Reston area. If you possess comprehensive expertise in Human Resources, particularly in benefits administration, talent acquisition, compensation, reporting, and training, you may be the ideal candidate. We value patience, compassion, strong listening skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, compliance, and company policies.
- Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
- Respond to inquiries related to human resources and liaise with appropriate internal and external entities.
- Stay current on federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Assist in developing and maintaining talent management processes.
- Collaborate with HR and business development teams to formulate effective recruitment strategies.
- Identify future staffing needs and support departments in their recruiting efforts.
- Review resumes during hiring processes and update the HRIS system accordingly.
- Prepare monthly and annual compliance reports.
- Provide audit support as required.
- Update job requirements and descriptions for all positions to maintain work structure.
- Manage complaints regarding harassment and discrimination, and support investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Administer annual compliance trainings through the HRIS LMS platform.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate offboarding processes, conduct exit interviews, and recommend corrective actions based on feedback.
- Contribute to the development and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Engage in the establishment of HR objectives and systems to meet ongoing company requirements.
- Assist in maintaining the employee handbook, contract list, and organizational chart while driving policy development and implementation.
