EUC Support Engineer-South Charleston
Location: South Charleston
City in West Virginia
Manage and resolve IT support tickets related to Windows desktop applications, laptops, printers, and network gear.
- Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 apps, VPN configurations, software installations, and security updates.
- Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs for end-user devices, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Oversee laptop imaging and deployment using Microsoft Intune and MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) for new employees and device refreshes.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for user authentication, access control, and identity management.
- Implement and enforce group policies (GPOs) to enhance system security and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Assist in network configurations, VLAN setups, and IP address management (IPAM).
- Work with VPN and remote access solutions to ensure secure connectivity for remote employees.
- Coordinate with hardware and software vendors for procurement, warranty claims, and licensing renewals.
- Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with enterprise agreements.
- Handle IT equipment purchasing, inventory tracking, and asset lifecycle management.
- Develop PowerShell scripts for automating tasks such as user account provisioning, software deployment, and system monitoring.
- Automate Windows updates, log collection, and patch management to improve efficiency.
- Ensure endpoint security by enforcing BitLocker encryption, Defender policies, and Intune compliance settings.
- Perform system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and patch management for enterprise endpoints
