What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at ICS?
- Identify potential clients with corporate offices in the Houston area, plan strategy, and develop all key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling.
- Cold call, e-mail, utilize LinkedIn, and perform on-site visits with our ICS team to educate customers on our products and solicit their business.
- Insight to help build a successful lead generation platform based on ICS provided tools and tools to consider.
- Utilize provided sales tools for ongoing follow up and business processes.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Comfortable making 300 to 500 contacts per week to set a required number of introductory appointments.
- Someone with a positive attitude and enjoys technology.
- Strong work ethic and self-drive.
- Has successfully utilized the phone, networking, lunches, LinkedIn, and Social Media in the past 6 months to make business to business appointments with company decision-makers.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
