Information Assurance and Security Specialist

Job Title: Information Assurance and Security Specialist Location: DC Employment Type: Contract (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Define and enforce enterprise information security standards.

• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Design and evaluate security programs, recommending solutions to meet customer requirements.

• Identify, report, and resolve security violations.

• Establish security requirements based on user, policy, and regulatory demands.

• Support high-level policy and doctrine development.

• Apply security knowledge to both common user and specialized systems.

• Perform security analysis, design, and development for system architectures.

• Define security requirements for various computer systems.

• Design and implement security solutions.

• Integrate security solutions into computer systems.

• Analyze and resolve technical security issues.

• Conduct vulnerability/risk analyses throughout the system development lifecycle.

• Ensure functionality and security of all information systems.

Qualifications:

• 16 years in IS policy development and maintenance (Required)

• 16 years in vulnerability/risk analysis (Required)

• 16 years in security violation identification and resolution (Required)

• Cloud-Azure expertise (Highly Desired)

• Experience with complex enterprise-level projects (Required)

• Expert in Windows server operating systems (Required)

• Knowledge of on-premise and cloud security products (Required)

• Strong IP Networks/Security knowledge (Required)

• Extensive NetApp SAN troubleshooting (Required)

• SAN replication/Disaster Recovery knowledge (Highly Desired)

• VMware ESXi storage management (Required)

• Server/endpoint OS understanding (Required)

• Windows 2016 AD Enterprise troubleshooting (Required)

• Disaster Recovery & Avoidance planning (Required)

• VMware Site Recovery Manager experience (Highly Desired)

• IT infrastructure troubleshooting expertise (Highly Desired)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience (Required)

• Master's Degree in IT or related field (Highly Desired)

• Certifications: CISSP, Security , CEH (Required)
