Scala on Spark Developer

Scala on Spark Developer:/Big Data Engineer

1. At least 6-8 years (for Senior Engineers / Senior Consultant equivalents) and 8-10 years (for Tech Lead / Manager equivalents) of hands on experience and strong in Scala on Spark, Kubernetes and SQL (Strong working experience with Scala is a must)

2. Experience working with Azure (AKS, ACR, ADLS, etc. services) and Airflow for orchestration is a strong plus

3. Successful candidate will need to be a quick study on an existing Scala on Spark codebase, and be able to jumpstart his/her contributions in terms of troubleshooting defects and/or working on new planned enhancements

4. Seasoned practitioner who is well organized, can perform well in a developer capacity in an individual contributor role, while also being a team player working with geographically distributed teams (US, Canada, India)

5. Any Financial Services experience working with Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) regulation would be a strong plus

6. Strong client presence preferred needs to be able to articulate himself well and demonstrate strong technical thought / architectural leadership

7. Strong preference to candidates in NY Tristate area and willing to work out of the client site (Jersey City, NJ) in a hybrid manner (2-3 days/week onsite).
