PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this job is to provide critical technical support for the Company's investment portfolio which is a source of income, liquidity, and capital stability. This role will execute key control functions and provide valuable insight into both capital market activity as well as investment performance. Accordingly, this high-profile role is a key business partner for the Company's portfolio managers, senior management, and regulators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executes critical controllership for ICW Group's investment portfolio.
- Leverages the Company's investment subledger to review key investment activity including purchases, sales, interest accruals, amortization / accretion, and capital transactions.
- Prepares journal entries and performs necessary reconciliations to support official recordkeeping in the Company's general ledger.
- Works with brokers and custodial banking partners to ensure efficient execution of trading activity.
- Develops policies and procedures, as necessary, to develop efficiencies and improve accuracy for investment accounting.
- Responds to auditor's requests for quarter-end and year-end audit items including process walkthroughs, control documentation, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Prepares audit schedules in accordance with the Company's external auditors' requirements.
Performs critical reporting and provides insights to key stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

The current range for this position is
78,678.61 - $132,686.15
This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors unique to each candidate, including experience, education and the location of the role and considers employees performing substantially similar work.
