Job Description : Position Overview :
As the Director, Facilities Maintenance & Management, you’ll play a strategic role in overseeing and optimizing our portfolio of corporate properties, supporting over 50 locations nationwide. You’ll provide expert guidance to the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring lease agreements align with organizational goals while driving seamless execution of building projects, from startups to ongoing maintenance.
Work Location : Remote
Travel Details : Up to 60% weekly travel across the US
Key Responsibilities :
Portfolio Management
Current Lease Oversight :
Ensure adherence to landlord and leaseholder obligations.
Manage CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and customer contract validations.
Provide ongoing support for various building projects.
Future or Startup Facilities :
Collaborate with internal teams to establish project milestones, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee TI (Tenant Improvement) allowances, abatements, change orders, and lease commencement logistics.
Liaise with city and county planning departments to manage permits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
Operational Excellence
Conduct pre-lease commencement walkthroughs with landlords, documenting conditions and creating punch lists.
Coordinate utility setups and ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.
Drive the development of property-specific solutions and maintain existing condition reports for lease renewals.

Requirements :
Minimum Requirements :
7 years’ experience in property maintenance and management.
Bachelor's degree or education and work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
Expertise in commercial or industrial property management, including greenfield projects.
Strong leadership and project management skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
Proficiency in interpreting leases, construction drawings, and regulatory requirements.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and property management tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PDF markup software).
Preferred Qualifications :
A proactive problem-solver who excels in fast-paced environments.
Adept at building relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors nationwide.
Knowledgeable in property design, construction, security, and safety protocols.
3PL, in warehousing or supply chain industry experience is preferred.
