What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Sanitation - Evenings position at ID Logistics?
We are seeking an experienced janitor to maintain a clean and safe work environment in and outside of the distribution center by performing all maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with operations to schedule periodic cleaning tasks on equipment and areas over product
- Work closely with maintenance to ensure that, before cleaning, equipment is appropriately locked out and broken down as needed to allow deep cleaning
- Follow color-coding and handling requirements for sanitation tools
- Electric pallet jack Operator experience, 2-year minimum.
- Follow company procedures for the handling, usage, and storage of sanitation chemicals
- Perform cleaning tasks according to the Master Cleaning Schedule and following sanitation procedures
- Document completed work on the Master Cleaning Task Assignment or Daily Housekeeping forms (whichever applies)
- Participate in periodic refresher trainings as assigned in safety, quality, food safety, and company policies
- Clean warehouse, offices, hallways, break room, rest rooms, and other work
- Empty trash containers and transport waste to disposal
- Replenishes bathroom and break room
- Keeps all walkways
- May perform light
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or GMP guidelines
- Maintains a clean and orderly work
- Handled chemicals with all safety rules and use of them to the purposes they are
- Maintain and use all cleaning equipment and tool in good conditions, remove from service any tools or equipment in poor condition, and report to the Quality Manager any
- Report any accidents or hazards immediately the Quality Manager or
- Perform seasonal grounds duties including snow removal, trash pickup and leaf removal
Monday-Friday
3:00pm-11:00pm
$18.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour for shift differential

Requirements:- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Electric pallet jack Operator experience, 2-year minimum.
- Experience with documentation of tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule)
- Computer skills in MS Word and Excel preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual preferred
