GENERAL SUMMARY AND PURPOSE: Provides research and evidence-based information on use of tobacco products and provides tobacco cessation and reduction education to Saint Alphonsus patients and community members. The position is PRN. The Coordinator will teach classes on Zoom two nights a week one time per month with some added time between classes to prep materials for the next session. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or state equivalency required. Associates degree or actively engaged in a degree program in Nursing, Social Services, Education or health related field preferred. Two years' experience in a health care required. Two years' experience teaching and/or facilitation individual, family, or community programs or support groups preferred. Experience or training in tobacco and/or addiction studies preferred.
