As our Scheduling Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our care operations, supporting caregivers and clients with warmth, empathy, and efficiency. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the friendly and organized voice at the center of our office—keeping schedules running smoothly and ensuring every client receives the care they need, when they need it.
You’ll:
Proactively manage and adjust caregiver and client schedules using AxisCare and Google Calendar
Tackle last-minute call-outs and cancellations with quick, thoughtful solutions
Identify open shifts in advance and take proactive steps to ensure coverage
Answer client phone calls with a calm, confident, and compassionate tone
Collaborate with the care team to maintain strong communication and consistent uninterrupted service
Match caregivers with clients thoughtfully, based on skill and personality fit
Maintain accurate records of caregiver availability and time off
Support new hires in understanding scheduling processes and expectations
Build and nurture positive relationships with both clients and caregivers
Qualifications:
Experience in scheduling, customer service, or healthcare coordination (home care preferred)
Familiarity with AxisCare, and Google Calendar strongly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under stress
A team player with a warm, upbeat, can-do attitude
Exceptional customer service skills, time management skills, excellent communication skills

Scheduling Coordinator Requirements:
Experience – One year experience in a home care setting preferred
Minimum Education – High school diploma,
Certification - CNA is a plus
