Era Living is seeking a Housekeeping Services Director to become the newest member of our leadership team at Ida Culver House Broadview, a vibrant retirement community with 300 elderly residents in North Seattle, WA. This position directly supervises a team of ~20 housekeepers, custodians, and laundry attendants. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career within senior living or someone from the hotel or hospitality industry looking for more meaningful work.
Available shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 04:00pm with some occasional weekend duty.

Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising and directing the housekeeping, custodial, and laundry teams. Ensures we have the people, supplies, and working machinery required to maintain a clean and sanitary environment while working within a budget.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the work of others
- Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform all aspects of housekeeping, custodial, and laundry functions in a health care setting
- Ability to manage a budget, including staff and other expenditures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of infection control techniques
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements and ability to follow all regulations and requirements ensuring personnel and resident safety at all times
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience required
- Experience in hospitality or health-care setting, preferred
- Previous experience supervising work for a team of individuals, preferred
