What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Utility position at Ida Lewis Yacht Club?
Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, RI is looking for a general utility employee to join our team for Commissioning the club from 3/10 March until May 10th ONLY.
We are located on 170 Wellington Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Provide general labor including moving boats, setting up down docks, ladders, moving furniture, adding signage, and assisting in light carpentry work.
- Assist in launching of docks and moving heavy items out of storage.
- Any other commissioning related tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, able to take initiative. and willing to perform a wide variety of tasks for multiple different departments
- This is a short time contractual work situation from 3/10 until May 10th ONLY. Fulltime 40hrs a week. Overtime pay available if needed.
