What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Development Officer I (Spanish Preferred) - Tri Cities position at Idaho Central Credit Union?
Responsibilities:
- Organizing promotional and community events and attending them to facilitate their success.
- Developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships, both internally and externally, to strengthen ICCU’s reputation within the community.
- Hitting monthly new member and referral goals.
- Managing multiple projects under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Partnering and coordinating with other departments to deliver the full range of ICCU’s products and services.
- Creating a positive and upbeat sales culture while maintaining a flexible, adaptive vision for future modifications.
Qualifications:

- A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position (a company vehicle is provided).
- Knowledge and experience in business and economic development.
- Independent and organizational skills.
- The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in marketing credit union products and services to outside companies and agencies.
This role may also require some Physical Abilities, including:
- The ability to lift 70-80 pounds of equipment (potentially including the money machine, coolers, tables, etc.).
- The ability to tolerate extensive local travel.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to reach keyboards and operate basic office machines.
