Idaho Central Credit Union’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Member Assistance Officer, you will manage various accounts, verify documents and information, and assist our members by answering their financial inquiries and making helpful recommendations.
*The ability to speak spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities
At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:
- Managing delinquent loan accounts and overdrawn checking accounts.
- Analyzing risk to reduce loss by reviewing delinquency reports and insurance.
- Verifying account research and error corrections.
- Answering basic questions regarding bankruptcy, deceased, home help and repossession.
- Contacting members by telephone, letter, or in person for payment arrangements.
- Counseling and making informed recommendations to members with financial problems.
- Updating applications and interviewing past due members.
- Maintaining accurate records of contact with members.
Qualifications
Before you apply, make sure you have:
- One year of experience in a customer service role or similar role.
- The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
Also, please let us know in your application if you have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
