Overview
The Mortgage Systems Administrator is responsible for performing day-to-day troubleshooting, deploy system updates, testing/coordinate new feature rollouts, and identifying new opportunities within the application to meet Credit Union growth and strategic goals.
Can be located in either Pocatello or Boise
Responsibilities
- Effectively resolve day-to-day system issues working with team members and 3rd party vendors.
- Support the release process starting from development work to post-production rollout support.
- Create and maintain system related documentation
- Ensuring that budgets are adhered to, and deadlines are met
- Planning and working flexibly to meet deadlines
- Learn and maintain knowledge for mortgage systems, mortgage industry, and business processes.
- Perform system administration tasks including but not limited to:
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Complying with change and vendor management
- Performing audits
- Other system administrative tasks.
- Adapt quickly to changes
- Adhere to set service level agreements and thrive in a game of work environment
- Translate business requests to technical requirements
- Create and propose solutions to business needs and issues
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
- Be able to work with different IT Teams to troubleshoot issues and execute projects
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Business preferred. 1 years of experience with relevant mortgage systems or 2 mortgage industry experience required. Encompass system experience preferred. 1 years of experience working in projects, troubleshooting systems, and/or loan applications required. Encompass Administrator Certification or other mortgage/IT certifications preferred. Jira, Agile, and/or other project experience preferred.
Performance Standard:
Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Broad knowledge of hardware, software, and programs. Maintain a broad knowledge Mortgage industry. Ability to learn quickly, contribute to a team effort and work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously. Logical, process-oriented thinker with a natural sense of urgency. Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort. Ability to prioritize, meets deadlines, and manages changing priorities with limited direction. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
