Develop and administer secondary market initiatives. Help manage, hire, train and develop new and existing Mortgage Secondary team members. In addition, manage team workflow and help with daily workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison to investors and maintain favorable relationships with them.
- Support the implementation of a prudent hedging strategy for ICCU’s mortgage pipeline, observing and acting upon errors in data, process, or strategy.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the pricing, hedging or execution of the mortgage loan pipeline.
- Resolve escalated loan issues, remediating problem loans to minimize losses to ICCU.
- Oversee shipping and trailing documents to ensure all loan deliveries fully comply with all investor eligibility and documentation requirements.
- Identify track and monitor trends and avoidable upstream loan-related errors; work across functions to develop complex solutions, improvements, and stop-gaps.
- Provide data and reports to senior-level management as needed.
- Support ICCU’s lock desk as needed. Assist in pricing of loan exception requests and executing decisions of changes to lock terms.
- Focus on continual compliance and improvement of policies, procedures and processes falling under scope of authority.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Mortgage Secondary team.
- Prepare daily rate and determine which investor we should sell to/set rates to.
- Focus on improving team's service level to team members.
- Manage productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and vendor opportunities.
- Assist in vendor/investor management and relations.
- Manage gross yield spreads.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. 3-5 years of experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
