Overview
The Seasonal Park Ranger Aide plays an important role to the success of Lake Walcott State Park. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a Part-Time position work 20 hours a week.
Duties
- Make camping reservations
- Collect park fees
- Perform minor maintenance
- Cleaning park facilities including restrooms
- Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and provide information about park features and wildlife.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver’s license
- Strong customer service skills
- Prefer experience in cash handling and retail sales
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, indoors, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work May to October
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
