Idaho Forest Group is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator for our log yard. Join a team where you can make a difference!

CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITY FOR PRODUCTION OPERATORS LOCATED IN MOYIE SPRINGS, ID. PAY STRUCTURE STARTING AT $23.34/hr. ALL FULL TIME EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FULL BENEFITS INCLUDING; MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, SHORT TERM DISABILTIY AND 401K W/ 5% COMPANY MATCH!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Moves bark and log chunks by operating skid steer loader.
  • Operates front-end loader.
  • Hauls with dump trucks.
  • Hauls bark to designated area.
  • Operates skid steer to place wood chunks in conveyor to chipper.
  • Using tanker truck, waters yard when dusty.
  • Use the sweeper to clean debris from roadways.
  • Operates all Logyard equipment to fill in when needed.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to quickly obtain one as a condition of employment)
  • Valid Driver’s License is highly preferred
  • Must be able to work various shifts, days, and overtime as requested

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement. Sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs. Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations, and airborne particles (sawdust).

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
