About the Job Description
This position requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and strong problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all plant machinery and equipment in optimal working order through installation, repair, and maintenance.
Key Job Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and equipment inspections
- Repair and replace faulty equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of the facility
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments, attending training sessions and workshops as necessary
Essential Skills
- Extensive knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as interpret technical documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
