Terminal Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

The Idaho Forest Group is seeking a highly skilled Terminal Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising driver operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for logistics.

Responsibilities

This role involves:

• Communicating effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Dispatching trucks and drivers utilizing Samsara.
• Tracking loads and weights, including residual and payroll departments.
• Scheduling loading of trailers at IFG mill facilities and customer load out sites.
• Coordinating maintenance with warehouse supervisor and drivers.
• Working with HR and Ops Manager on recruitment, payroll, and performance management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A minimum 3 years of experience in the transportation industry.
• A valid Class A CDL.
• A valid DOT Medical Card.
• Proven proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with collecting, analyzing, and reporting transportation data.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
