JOB DESCRIPTION: Outreach Coordinator
REPORTS TO: TBD
DEFINITION OF POSITION: Under the supervision of TBD, builds relationships between IGA and referring partners within the communities it serves, developing and implementing strategies to engage and connect with target audience through events, materials, and partnerships.
IGA is committed to the attainment and maintenance of an ergonomically healthy workplace to protect all employees. Safe working conditions are a top priority. Our goal through the support of physicians, administration and staff is to create a culture of ergonomic safety. Staff is encouraged to ask for assistance when moving patients or heavy items to prevent musculoskeletal injuries. All concerns from staff are to be forwarded to the Site Administrator to facilitate correction of any scenario where staff may feel a risk may occur. Adequate lighting should be maintained, and workstations will be equipped for ergonomic safety. Staff is encouraged to wear nonskid footwear, remove, or eliminate all clutter, cabinet doors should remain closed, spills will be wiped up immediately, cables will be kept out of traffic flow areas
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Outreach & Marketing
1. Develop, implement, and monitor community outreach plan, including measurable outcomes and objectives.
2. Collaborate with IGA staff to support external and internal communications, program outreach goals, and disease awareness initiatives.
3. Develop and maintain professional and positive working relationships with community partners and build awareness of IGA services to increase our service area.
4. Support existing partnerships with key stakeholders.
5. Work with IGA leadership to identify, strengthen, and cultivate opportunities for expanded partnerships within IGA service area.
6. Organize, attend, and present at various non-profit, for-profit, public and private spaces, and other related settings in order to connect with potential referring partners.
7. Plan for, order, and track purchase of marketing materials.
8. Track and monitor IGA referring partners.
Digital Content and Social Media
9. Create and edit content for internal and external distribution, including email, newsletter, and social media campaigns that support services and outreach goals.
10. Responsibility for the upkeep and content on IGA’s website.
11. Prepare and update outreach materials, including presentations, flyers, and other collateral

14. Communicates pertinent information to others.
15. Follows personnel policies contained within the IGA personnel manual.
16. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in outreach
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Able to read, write and communicate and present a neat professional appearance
• Create a good impression as a friendly, empathetic, efficient individual as this position has first contact, phone or face-to-face, with the patient
• Demonstrate reliability, a pleasant attitude, and a willingness to perform the duties as required
• Demonstrate effective communication with physicians and co-workers
• Able to maintain and comply with patient confidentiality and integrity on all matters
