Duties
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Manage office correspondence, including answering phones and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy.
- Organize and file documents systematically to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Complete order entries and purchase order processing.
- Utilize a financial program for basic financial record-keeping and invoicing tasks.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing ideas and solutions.
Skills
- Proficient in office clerical tasks with strong typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales/business management systems.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and vendors.
- Familiarity with computerized systems for data management and filing.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience with the lighting/electrical industry is a plus but not mandatory.
