Job Summary
The Field Manager plans, organizes, coordinates, executes, and supervises the day-to-day functions of the Field Services (Janitorial Services) team. This is a hands-on position that requires an organized, self-motivated, and high energy leader to lead from the front in a high-paced environment.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm (hours may vary depending on scope and additional projects), some weekends may be required as part of scope of work.
Job Duties
- Ensuring that the day-to-day field services crews are running as efficiently as possible.
- Training, Coaching and Developing new and existing Field Services staff.
- Conducting quality audits and ensuring expectations are being met.
- Coordinating staffing needs for Field Service (schedules, coverage, time off etc.).
- Providing coverage for Field Services including (but not limited to) cleaning, stocking, and filling in for team members that are out sick or on vacation.
- Monitoring and ensuring accurate timekeeping records for team members.
- Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and submitting orders in a timely manner.
- Maintaining and overseeing contract specifications, service quantity and quality.
- Monitoring, developing, and overseeing performance evaluations for Field Services.
- Identifying current and future recruiting needs according to contractual and production goals and obligations.
- Effectively resolving issues; routinely communicating resolutions to appropriate personnel.
- Managing/completing add on services such as flooring projects, window cleaning, etc.
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of management experience (bonus if it is in Janitorial Services)
- 1-2 years of commercial cleaning experience
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable drivers’ history
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environment and priorities
This position comes with a base salary, company vehicle and bonus potential for efficiency.
